Garlic Honey

On the homestead we can’t have sick days, the animals need to be fed and watered, bedded up and love their cuddles. So we use Garlic honey to boost our immune system when we feel the slightest bit off.

Garlic honey is extremely easy to make.

You only need a few items, a sterilized jar, a bulb or two of garlic and raw honey.

Peel your garlic, you may chop it if you wish but we prefer ours in cloves. Place into your jar and cover with honey. Make sure to leave 1” headspace from the top of the jar. Place your lid on and turn it over to coat all garlic with honey. Let it sit in a cool dark place and burp daily for about a week. After that your garlic honey is ready to go!
we take 1tsp a day when starting to feel under the weather and 1tsp 2-3 times a day when we end up with a sore throat or hoarse cough.
